KH-Glucan(β-glucan)
KH-Glucan is a yeast β-glucan purified from a fermented broth with Aureobasidium pullulans. KH-Glucan shows not only physical moisturizing effect and soft texture by film-forming on the skin but also anti-inflammatory effect by inhibition of expression of inflammatory cytokines. Also, KH-Glucan protects skin against microbials and viruses by increase of secretion of interleukin-2, 12 and interferon-gamma.
